Signing up for a Photoshoot

When you sign up for a photoshoot, a 25% deposit is required.  This non-refundable deposit will reserve your time slot.   I accept payment via Zelle, Paypal, and Venmo.  When submitted, I will message you within the day of the submitted payment to let you know it has been received and that you are all set.  You can pay the remaining amount with cash, Paypal, Card, or Venmo, the day of your photoshoot.  You must pay the amount due before the shoot begins.

If the 25% deposit is not paid 1 week after booking, you will lose your time slot.

The deposit will be returned to you if for some reason I cannot make the shoot.

Cancellations & Refund Policy 

The 25% deposit is non-refundable after one week before the shoot. Anytime after, canceling your shoot will not refund your deposit.

Lateness to a photoshoot can occur due to the chaos of the convention.  There will not be any refunds in place for being late.  If you book a 30 minute shoot, and arrive 5 minutes late, your shoot will be 30 minutes. 

**Covid-19 Concerns on Cancellation: If Katsucon gets canceled, you will be refunded.  If Katsucon is not canceled I will still be attending, so there will be no refunds. If you cancel due to your own concerns, the deposit will be returned to you.**

Preparing for your Photoshoot

It's good to prepare for a photoshoot by looking up poses that work not only for your character, but for your comfort.  Consider looking online for advice with poses and facial expressions. I can offer some help on booking day as well as getting angles that will fit the photos and poses.

Receiving your Photos

It will take about 2-6 weeks to receive the photos due to other shoots and work going on. You will receive the photos via a link to all the unedited photos as well as the edited retouched photos.  Additional edited photos can be purchased for $5 each. If you do not download the photos within a month, the gallery will be taken down and a fee of $5 is required to re-upload the photos.

Photo Use

When posting online, crediting me (Soaria’s Photography, soariaphotography.com) is required. Please tag me on the photos posted on social media to credit me.

An alternative for selling prints is available upon request. Photos can be sent to cosplay magazines/online websites, but credit must be provided and I would love to have information on if it is sent.

I reserve the right to upload photos to my social feeds/website and portfolio.  I do sell prints in all types of sizes for all photos. Please ask me for more information.
